Misunderstood Muslimah in the Present World

Muslim women are being misunderstood expecially when it comes to their rights in Islam. Muslim sisters wear Hijab and encurage women not b out there to work etc, as much as men because Islam 'protect' their women, not 'dominate' them. A deeper understanding and a wise mind would understand this. For instance, when someone has a diamond, they would secure it in a safe or in a glass display with high tech laser seceurity system. In the diamond's owner private time, he would take the diamond out, polish & admire it. It doesnt matter or it would be better of that no 1 knows about the existence of the daiamond, otherwise the owner would be at risk of getting the diamond stolen by robbers (and these are the bad people..n doubt on that). No one would just wear their diamonds or leave it out in the street to be seen@touched by anyone unnecessarily. That is a simple analogy I can come up with on why Muslimah should cover themselves up. When it comes to why attitude and the role of a Muslim woman in this present world, most non Muslims thought that Muslim women are being dominated by man whereby they are not encouraged to work or get involved with the outside world compared to men. Here comes another example, if a women who is a mother is so busy with her career, and trust me (often we see in some cases, working women have 'their' own  ego), not to mentoion if they earn more or even equally the same amount of wage with te husband, woman will tend to get carried away with the attitude of being a boss in the office hence behave the same way at home. And what happend to the children? They may not be 'materially' neglected, but 'spiritually'or emotionally, they may be neglected. Isnt it enough for us to see, hear & come to know of increasing cases of social decay these days? Why is it most people who are from remote areas such as small towns and villages were able to produce better Malaysians in those day where mst mothers were housewives, for example. It is because they stick to the basic. Men play their parts and women does the same. However,if a woman can be a good careerwoman, a wife, and a mother, thats even better. It reminds me of a saying that were displayed in the television once in while, well....I am not sure if everyone can relate to it but from my point of view, I can see the point on which it says something like 'the sunat done will only be counted in if the 'compulsory' are done'.Same goes to woman, if woman cannot be a daughter@wife@mother, regardless of how many awards she was won and being recognized for her good work in the career, it may not be considered good enough or accepted by HIS side.I may be a new Muslim but thanks to Allah by providing me oppoturnities to learn & understand Islam better. Trying my level best to learn, adapt & practise life how Muslim women are spposed to arent easy if we do it without knowing and understanding WOMAN IN ISLAM. Especially when so many others who are non Muslims or even some Muslims, do Misunderstood Muslimah in this present world...
